Congratulations to Susan Choi and Sarah Broom, two Badass Women authors who were honored with awards from the National Book Foundation! Choi’s book, Trust Exercise, was honored for Best Fiction book; Broom’s book, The Yellow House, was honored for Best NonFiction book. You can read more about the winners and other honorees here.  Let’s keep sharing, celebrating and honoring books for, by and about Badass Women!

Speaking of book awards, voting is still open for the Best Badass Women’s Books of the Year!  Cast your vote here – finalists will be announced December 14th!

At last week’s The Riveter Summit I had the chance to hear Lindy West read an excerpt from her newest book, The Witches Are Coming. Sitting in the audience I downloaded my own copy – I had to hear her read the rest!  You might know West as the author of Shrill, adapted for TV and starring SNL’s Aidy Bryant. Read more about how’s she still getting used to her Hollywood paycheck.

The Likeability Trap is another great new release – check out this interview with the author.
