READ. WATCH. LISTEN. If You Enjoyed "Know My Name" by Chanel Miller

Our June Badass Women’s Book Club book, Know My Name: A Memoir by Chanel Miller was a powerful book. It was perhaps one of my favorites of all of our book club picks. To say I “enjoyed” it makes it sound trite - it was much too deep, too full of her hurt, and yet also full of promise and strength. I can’t recommended it highly enough…

Here are some READ, WATCH, LISTEN recommendations based on the book…

In Believe Me, contributors ask and answer the crucial question: What would happen if we didn't just believe women, but acted as though they matter? If we take women's experiences of online harassment seriously, it will transform the internet. If we listen to and center survivors, we could revolutionize our systems of justice. If we believe Black women when they talk about pain, we will save countless lives.
