Sell Your Badass Book on Instagram: 4 Channels in 1
One of the many benefits of using Instagram to promote your book is that you are able to leverage 4 channels in 1! That’s right – we may think of Instagram as the site we visit to scroll or post pretty pictures, but it’s actually much more dynamic than that.
Within Instagram you have access to four very different channels – IG Feed, IG Stories, IG Live, and IGTV. Engaging in each of those spaces is going to exponentially grow your impact and influence.
But doing that requires understanding what each channel does, so you can decide how to best use each one.

Again, I love this super-relatable approach to understanding the 4 Instagram channels and I often think of these examples when I am creating my content. I use my feed in the traditional way, with photos and captions that align with my content (you can check out my previous post on content here). I take a much more relaxed approach with my stories – I do often share casual book photos, but I also share articles, memes, and quotes. And finally, I use IGTV and IG Live to share virtual coaching sessions and host author interviews.
